I tried to stay very loose with brush-strokes on this one. This is also the first in a series of paintings that I've been meaning to embark on featuring scenes from highway driving. It's something that evokes a very american feeling to me - road trips and rushing along the open road.
These last three paintings are wonderful! I wish I could master values as well as you have. When are you going to have your solo show?
